A collection of samples on “Seascape” themes, handbuilt in earthenware clay with glazes and multi-fired effects. Each piece is unique; reorders available.
Octopus plates- six tiny plates approx 4” diameter, with suction-cup texture and cool glaze layers.
Opal Octopus plate- a larger version of the tiny plate; approx 9” diameter, with a cool overlay of violet and oyster-shell opal glaze finish. Terracotta back.
Swirl Bowls - tiny and medium (4” and 8”) terracotta forms with petal-swirl cut rim work.
Oysters - test pieces for Porto; variety of colors, these are small 3” except for the single larger one.
Urchins - again, left from the Porto Restaurant project, these are some of my favorites. Cute, spiky sea grey and green bowls with clear gloss on white clay. 3” diameter.
